
ehm.. the other thing with the german "TÜV"
if you wanna place a tuning car part from your dealer onto your car in germany, than you´ll need a very expensive homoligation, in which the part is tested in every way and situation and so on.. if already such a certification exists from your dealer especially for the part and the exact model of your car - than you can drive to the tüv and show him that you´ve plugged it allright onto your car like in the example from your dealer.. for this you´ll have to pay a less feed to the tüv and everything is ok..
but for parts you´ve made on yourself, or an other private person you don´t have such a certificate and its not sure that you are getting allowed from the tüv to drive your car with this part on it..
therefore the tüv makes one or more different special tests with the part and perhaps you´ll get the allowness from the tüv to use this after all on your car. but this is normaly very more expensive instead of the normal way with a part from a dealer with certification of made tests..
that´s the country PROBLEM here in germany
